Ministry of Healing

We welcome you to join the healing power
of our community!

Matthew 25:35-37

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
Then the righteous will answer him, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?”
The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Matthew 11:28-30

Prince of Peace, I come to You because I am weary, and I am carrying a heavy burden. Since my cancer diagnosis, I have felt a heavy burden on my shoulders, but I know that You will give me rest. Lord, I take Your yoke upon me, and will learn from You; for You are gentle and humble in heart, and I will find rest for my soul. So long as I take Your yoke (Your teaching) and remain Your faithful servant, I will have a sense of peace – it is not laborious, but instead is joyful. For Your yoke is easy, and Your burden is light.

Matthew 9:33

We pray to you, Lord,
who heals the mute and the deaf.
May the abused, whose voices
have been silenced for so long,
receive strength to speak their pain.
Help us to listen with compassion and mercy.

Lord Jesus, heal.
Holy Spirit, comfort.
Gracious God, grant life again. Amen.

ISAIAH 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.

They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

John 11:41-45

Miracle Worker, when You called the twelve disciples onto You, You gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. I declare that by Your stripes I am healed and by Your power, I am healed! I pray that You heal all manner of sickness and disease within me so that I can be made whole by You, Amen
