PENANCE AND RECONCILIATION

Children:

The sacrament of penance is usually received for the first time in 4th grade prior to First Communion. It is introduced in 2nd grade and may be received at that time at the discretion of the parents and pastor. Preparation for the study of the sacrament is part of the 4th grade instruction. One parent meeting is held prior to the reception of the sacrament.

Adults:

Preparation for the study of the sacrament is part of the RCIA program. There is also an individual hour-long class available for those desiring information on this sacrament alone. Please refer to the Adult Education section of this website. You may also contact Danny Rodriguez or parish secretary Juanita Rodriguez-Rocha at (262) 656-7373.

The sacrament is offered in both English and Spanish on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. Individuals wishing to receive the sacrament of penance at other times may do so by contacting the rectory for an appointment.

Communal penance services are offered during Advent and Lent in cooperation with other Kenosha parishes. Please refer to the bulletin for details during Advent and Lent.
