The Church continues its sacramental ministries through this sacrament. Inquiries are welcome from those discerning vocations to the priesthood or permanent diaconate.
Each baptized Christian is called by God to o something special, to become someone special. Our call or vocation is to become more Christ like. Each person has special gifts and talents, which will help hat person to be of service to others.
Service is the vocation that is common to all Christians. Each person is called to live out that call to service through a particular way of life.
God calls some to be a sister, a brother, a deacon, or a priest. God calls others to be a husband, wife, parent, or single.
Through prayer, reflection, and conversation with others about our dreams and talents, we can best combine our talents with a way of life that will hlp us to share the Gospel of service with others.
The St. Mark Parish Vocations Committee works to create a parish environment that supports persons seeking to recognize and understand God's call--to priesthood, to religious life as a sister or brother, to marriage or single life, to lay ministry or the diaconate. The committee welcomes all to attend their monthly meetings. For more information about the Vocations Committee, go to Ministries - Outreach at this website.
